Tuesday, November 12th

After a restless night in the big hotel room (it really is big especially for NY) (oh and also I think we were all missing the 5th wheel Lol) and the hustle and bustle out the window, we woke up to snow!!  Just as predicted.  After breakfast, we went across the street to visit our new friends, Ariane & Jimmy.  They literally live across the street.  We can see their front entry door from out our window.  We got to enter by buzzing to her at her apartment (ya know, just like on TV!)  After the short tour of their place we finally figured out the subway with her assistance.  It had quit snowing but it was cold so it was a good day to go to the Metropolitian Museum of Art.  A gigantic place just like all museums and we saw maybe 10% of it.  We left there and walked along Central Park.  It's HUGE! And pretty.  On to the FAO Schwarz Toy Store to see the big piano used in the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks from years ago.  Awesome fun!  And Garrett's fun was the Apple Store; down a glass huge spiral staircase all underground which seemed to be just under the normal sidewalk area.  Weird!  The place was packed!  Crazy busy!  After some great soup for lunch headed back on the subway to the hotel for some rest before the big night at Radio City Hall.  We decided it was time to take a taxi to the show. We got a great driver with a strong accent.  It was fun.  We saw Radio City Hall Christmas Spectacular Show featuring the Rockettes.  It was great.  The hall is just amazing.  We still can't believe that's where "America's Got Talent" is filmed sometimes!  Rode the subway back that even had a transfer.  We'll figure it all out just in time to leave!  :). Busy day and again tomorrow!!   **Sara
