We drove to Sheffield, Massachusetts, to our friend's house.  Now that we're amongst the Massachusetts folk, we know the right term for Cape Cod is actually 'the cape.'  So 'the cape'  is the far southeast side of Massachusetts---the curly part into the ocean.  We wanted to play on the Marconi Beach this morning but it was raining so we just looked out to the ocean and got to watch some seals (yes in the rain!)  Pretty cool!  So we left 'the cape' this morning and drove across Rhode Island (don't blink, you might miss it!) and through Connecticut to our friends in southwest Massachusetts.
