Tuesday, February 4th

We did a little bit of school today.  We went to see the "Big Tree" here in the state park.  It is a Live Oak Tree that is over 1000 years old.  It is 35 feet in circumference, 11 feet in diameter, and 44 feet tall.  For a year Dad has been talking about a special Po Boy restaurant. The Po Boy is a special sandwich with oysters or shrimp or both on it.  I just got shrimp on mine and it was good.  After lunch,  we took a walk out on our friend's pier. After we got back to the camper Dad and I went fishing out on another pier in the campground. The fish we could even see in the water were called Sheephead. Obviously they didn't like what was on the menu. They wouldn't bite anything. Well after three hours of nothing we decided to leave. Oh well what can we do?
