Tuesday, January 7th

So today we drove to the end of the road.  U.S. Hwy #1 comes to an end in Key West!  We walked around the touristy town.  Took our picture at the Southernmost Point concrete buoy.  Famous picture spot!!!  Can you see Cuba from there?  We went to the Eco Discovery Center and saw some awesome fish and coral that are in the reefs that are around the Keys.  Talked to someone about a great restaurant where the locals go, so we found that for a late lunch.  Hogfish was their specialty as well as their name.  It was good!  We didn't know (even Jeff!) there was such a fish!  Back to the camper and the kids decided the pool was even too cold to swim.  It was only 60 degrees and very windy (hey - we're in Key West and it's suppose to be warm!)  Check out the last picture we found in someone's back yard......we thought that was hilarious!  Oh, does anybody know how many bridges are here in the Keys, connecting all the little islands?          **Sara
