Friday, January 3rd

We are at a state park in central Florida, in a town called Sebring. Near the campground they have walking trails that you can ride to on bikes. We picked a wild orange, looked for alligators which we failed at, and saw Cypress knees. Cypress knees are the roots of Cypress trees. They grow around the tree, to support the tree in marshy conditions.  We did that for a couple hours. As you can see, my sister is a tree hugger. Once back at the camper, I read a lot out of my book, Insurgent. Ironically we are watching the movie RV right now.

  1. Hi Family!

I had to comment on the tree hugging... Thank goodness that tree was not a Sequoia or Redwood tree in California that she was trying to hug! :)
