We went to Acadia National Park today.  It is located on an island about half way up the coast of  Maine about 30 miles south of Bangor.  It is a beautiful place with the Atlantic Ocean all around it.  The kids had a blast playing in the ocean.  We all got our feet wet!!!!  Whew that water is cold!   We went to the top of Cadillac Mountain which was a whooping 1538 feet in elevation!  We laughed about that since many of Colorado mountains are 10,000+ feet.  :) There are many many little islands all the way around it.  Very pretty at the top.  Lunch at Bar Harbor and a walk along the shore finished out the day.
